About the estate

The Weishaar estate cultivates ten hectares of vineyards in self-distribution in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl in the Baden wine region. The family-run winery developed from a former mixed agricultural operation and has been active for several generations. The vineyards are situated in the Kaiserstuhl nature reserve on the Eichstetter Herrenbuck site, characterized by weathered volcanic soils and calcareous loess. The artisanal working method includes sustainable management without synthetic crop protection agents, one hundred percent hand harvesting, and gentle grape processing. The portfolio ranges from estate wines and local wines to site wines from old vines aged in wooden casks.

The eno directory lists 34 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Müller-Thurgau. The estate sells to retail.
