About the estate

The Weingut Lothar Schwörer estate looks back on a history of more than a hundred years, which began in 1875 with the establishment of a barrel cooperage and winery. Today, Cornelia and Lothar Schwörer manage the business in Baden on a vineyard area of ten hectares. The focus of the product range is on classic Pinot varieties, complemented by grape varieties such as Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Muscat, and Cabernet. During the nature-oriented production of the wines, the master winemaker combines traditional craftsmanship with modern cellar technology. In doing so, the family-run business strives to produce wines that reflect the character of their place of origin.
