About the estate
The Vitivinicola Valla winery located in Ziano Piacentino in Emilia-Romagna was established in 2007, continuing a family tradition with roots extending back over sixty years. Spanning nearly five hectares of vineyards divided into two nearby plots, the estate applies the principles of advanced integrated pest management. Soil management and the application of organic fertilizers are carried out selectively and with minimal environmental impact. In the cellar, historic glazed concrete vats are used throughout the vinification process, utilizing the material's natural porosity to facilitate micro-oxygenation during maturation. Furthermore, the production features an ancestral method for naturally bottle-fermented sparkling wines.
