Vignobles Hillaire

About the estate

The Vignobles Hillaire estate comprises two properties, Domaine Olivier Hillaire and Clos Saint Pierre, located in the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The family looks back on a long winemaking tradition dating back to the late 19th century, while the current estate was established by Olivier Hillaire in 2006 and is managed together with his sons Baptiste and Corentin. Spanning nearly 30 hectares of vineyards, they cultivate parcels featuring diverse soils of sand, clay, and traditional galets roulés. Their portfolio includes wines from the AOC Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape DOCG denominations. Their approach to viticulture and winemaking emphasizes artisanal traditions, respect for the terroir, and organic farming methods in parts of the vineyards.

The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Grenache and Syrah. The estate sells to retail.
