About the estate

The Chateau de Vaudieu / Domaine de la Coulerette estate was built in 1767 by Admiral Gérin and is one of the authentic historic properties in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Spanning 70 hectares, the vineyards are managed by the Bréchet family across multiple generations on a diverse mosaic of geological terroirs located between 85 and 125 meters in altitude. The soils feature sandy areas, pebble-strewn terraces, marl, and limestone slopes in the southern Rhône Valley. Following plot-by-plot harvesting, the yields are vinified and aged separately before blending.
