About the estate
Trained as a mason, Tom Litwan founded his small winery in northwestern Switzerland in 2006, specifically in Oberhof in the canton of Aargau. Following a formative stay in Burgundy, he trained as a winemaker and has since cultivated various vineyard sites in the region according to biodynamic principles. The estate focuses on the Riesling-Silvaner and Pinot Noir grape varieties, fermenting the harvests traditionally with indigenous yeasts. The wines are produced as single-vineyard bottlings and deliberately crafted without concentration to express the individuality of each vintage and the character of the terroir. The wines are distributed internationally to markets including Germany, Denmark, Austria, and the USA.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Müller-Thurgau. Export markets include Germany and Austria.
