About the estate

The Weingut Goldwand is a traditional family estate located in Ennetbaden in German-speaking Switzerland, with a history in viticulture spanning multiple generations. Since 1997, the winery has been managed by Michael Wetzel, who runs the operation alongside his wife Barbara and their children. Spanning 9.2 hectares of vineyards under the AOC Aargau denomination, the estate cultivates various grape varieties including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, Merlot, and Cabernet. Looking back on centuries of heritage, the winery combines established family traditions with innovative approaches in vineyard management and winemaking.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Diolinoir. The estate sells to retail.
