About the estate

Located in Twann in Switzerland, the Theo Tschanz Weinbau estate is run by Heinz and Gabriela Tschanz as a classical family business in the second generation. The cultivation of the 2.1-hectare vineyard area is carried out in a natural and careful manner, completely avoiding herbicides such as glyphosate. In the vineyard and when planting young vines, attention is also paid to the waning moon cycle. For vinification in the cellar, the winery relies on a mixture of effective microorganisms, which supports a spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The grape variety portfolio includes white and red varieties such as Gutedel, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Solaris, Souvignier Gris, Pinot Noir, Gamaret, and Diolinoir.
