About the estate

The Le Murmure - Lebendige Weine estate cultivates 2.4 hectares of vineyards in steep terraced locations high above Lake Biel near Alfermée, Tüscherz and Twann. Martina and Christoph vinify the grapes entirely by hand, operating biodynamically in both the vineyards and the cellar according to the strict guidelines of Bio Suisse and Demeter. All wines undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, mature with minimal intervention and are bottled unfiltered. In addition to natural wines, the portfolio includes spirits such as distillates and liqueurs made from grape pomace as well as sparkling wines.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
