About the estate

The Sant Joannes estate in Catalonia cultivates its vineyards within the Penedès DO designation and looks back on a long family tradition. Four generations have cultivated the historic lands of Masía Casa Gran 1453 following organic principles. The vineyards are farmed organically with manual harvesting and artisan production methods in harmony with the environment. The cellar work relies on minimal intervention, utilizing spontaneous fermentations with native yeasts and avoiding chemical additives. The portfolio features wines produced from varieties such as Xarel·lo, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Macabeu.
