The Caves Pares Balta estate is a small family winery located in the Penedès region with origins dating back to 1790. Today, the winery is managed by the third generation, brothers Joan and Josep Cusiné, alongside their wives who serve as the estate enologists. The vineyards feature diverse altitudes and soil types and are cultivated using biodynamic agriculture without the use of pesticides or herbicides. The portfolio includes both traditional indigenous grape varieties and international varieties, all vinified with minimal intervention in the cellar. The production focuses on organic wines and cavas under the Cava DO and Penedès DO appellations.
