About the estate

The Celler Can Marlès estate is located in El Montmell in Catalonia and is led by Lucía Pombo. The organically cultivated vineyards sit at an altitude of 540 meters on clay and limestone soils surrounded by the forests and mountains of the El Montmell range. The grape varieties cultivated include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Garnatxa Blanca, Malvasia de Sitges, Forcada, Parellada, Ull de llebre, Syrah, and Petit Verdot. The winery produces artisan, estate-grown wines with a numbered small production and slow evolution. Alongside winemaking, the property features a restoration project of historic Catalan farmhouses dedicated to rural wine tourism.
