Roman Fuchs

About the estate

The Roman Fuchs estate cultivates a small, historic vineyard in Niederwil near Cham in the canton of Zug, the origins of which are mentioned in ancient documents and confirmed by archaeological finds. Founded in 2015, the winery cares for around 5,000 vines across 90 ares of vineyards. It exclusively grows fungus-resistant grape varieties such as Solaris, Johanniter, Muscaris, Souvignier gris, Sauvignac, and Divico. The vineyards are farmed according to the strict guidelines of Bio Suisse with a strong focus on biodiversity and ecological compensation areas. The white and red wines are vinified in cooperation with external partners.
