About the estate
The Weinbau Risch winery, based in Rotkreuz, has been cultivating one of the largest organic vineyards in the Canton of Zug since the year 2000. The history of the Breitenhof dates back to 1870, and today the traditional family-run estate is managed according to Bio Suisse guidelines. Characterful organic wines with the AOC Zug denomination thrive on the sunny southern slope above Lake Zug. Organic viticulture, meticulous manual labor, and the avoidance of chemical-synthetic crop protection products shape the estate's daily work.
