About the estate

The Paul Jaboulet Aîné estate cultivates vineyards in the Rhône Valley and produces wines in renowned appellations such as Hermitage. The vineyard plots feature deep soils on fluvial terraces of the Rhône composed of limestone and colluvium. The winery applies a biodynamic approach and practices manual harvesting with parcel-by-parcel sorting in small boxes. In the cellar, traditional vinification takes place with 100 percent destemming and several weeks of maceration. The wines are aged in French oak barrels, demi-muids, tronconic vats, or concrete eggs depending on the vintage.
