The Famille Garon, Vignerons - Côte Rôtie estate looks back on a family history that began in 1485 with the birth of Jean Garon in Ampuis. Today, the winery spans over 16 hectares, primarily in Côte-Rôtie, and is shaped by the newer generations working together. In the 1980s, Jean-François and Carmen Garon began reviving the estate's abandoned terraces before vinifying their first bottle of Côte-Rôtie in 1995. Alongside its own production, the estate has developed a small trading activity, bringing the range to numerous cuvées from the Rhône Valley. The winery practices sustainable agriculture, focusing on careful soil management and a strict reduction of chemical inputs.
