The Manzone Giovanni Viticultore estate in Monforte d'Alba looks back on a history spanning over a century and is run as a family business across five generations. The vineyards are situated in one of the renowned areas of the Barolo hills between Monforte and Serralunga d'Alba. In the artisanal management of their estate-owned plots, the winery relies on traditional methods featuring spontaneous fermentations, long maceration periods, and aging in large wooden casks and concrete vats. By avoiding artificial fining and mechanical filtration, the estate produces distinctive wines that reflect the identity of the Piedmontese terroir.
