About the estate
The Herdade dos Outeiros Altos estate in Estremoz, Alentejo, combines traditions of past culture with sustainable agriculture practices. Intervention in both the vineyards and the cellars is kept to a minimum in order to achieve the maximum expression of the terroir. The winery focuses on recovering the ancient wisdom and flavors of indigenous grape varieties. Traditional vinification techniques using clay jars known as Talhas are also utilized in the production. The portfolio includes labels such as Outeiros Altos Tinto, Outeiros Altos Branco de Uvas Tintas, and Outeiros Altos Vinho de Talha.
