About the estate
The Herdade da Mingorra estate is situated in the warm Alentejo region near the city of Beja and traces back to Henrique Uva, who established the project in 2004. Today, the family-run enterprise is managed by the founder together with his four daughters. Out of a total agricultural area of 1,400 hectares, 170 hectares are dedicated to vineyards featuring vines with decades of history. The modern winery exclusively processes estate-grown grapes to produce structured and characterful wines. The portfolio includes single-varietal wines and blends featuring grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Alvarinho, and Touriga Nacional alongside various other regional and international cultivars.
The eno directory lists 33 wines, mostly from Alvarinho and Sauvignon Blanc.
