About the estate
The Herdade Grande estate is located in Vidigueira in the Alentejo region and looks back on a family history that began in 1920. Today, the winery is managed in the fourth generation with a strong commitment to sustainability-focused viticulture. The area is characterized by a Mediterranean microclimate with high temperature ranges and cold nights, combined with poor schist soils. The vineyard plantings comprise numerous national and international varieties for both red and white wines. The wines are crafted by a dedicated winemaking team that preserves the distinct character and freshness of the terroir.
