About the estate

The Eredi Canonica Comm. Cesare winery is located in Torre Bormida in the Piedmont region within the Alta Langa, having been founded in the 1930s by Arnaldo Canonica. Vineyard management transitioned to organic practices leading to certification in 2005, with cultivation traditionally taking place on the area's characteristic terraced slopes. The estate's approach emphasizes low yields per hectare, manual harvesting of both red and white grape varieties, and careful cellar processing. The cantina vinifies grapes from its own organic vineyards alongside selections from esteemed areas across the Langhe and Monferrato. Today, the family continues this heritage with dedication, producing wines under prominent denominations such as Barolo, Barbaresco, and Barbera.
