About the estate
The Dourakis Winery estate is located in Alikampos on the island of Crete and was founded in 1988 by Andreas Dourakis. Following his winemaking studies in Germany and practical experience in northern Greece, the founder returned to his native village to establish the estate, producing the first privately bottled wine in Chania. Today, the family business operates within the Crete PGI denomination, continuing the founder's vision for innovative and authentic wines under the next generation. The portfolio features wines from organically grown grapes, including traditional sparkling wines and distinct regional styles. In addition to winemaking, the property hosts cultural events and art exhibitions.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Romeiko and Mandilari.
