About the estate
The Amargiotakis Winery is located in Dafnes on the island of Crete within a designated winegrowing zone. The history of the estate began in 1965 with the grandfather producing quality wines, followed by vineyard expansions by the father. Today, the winery is managed in the third generation by Manolis Amargiotakis, who completed a modernization of the facilities in 2017. Across the cultivated vineyard area, indigenous grape varieties are grown with a particular emphasis on the Liatiko variety. The production focuses on single-varietal wines while implementing resource-efficient management practices in both the vineyards and the winery.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Liatiko and Moschato of Spina. The estate sells to horeca.
