L'azienda Dourakis Winery si trova ad Alikampos, sull'isola di Creta, ed è stata fondata nel 1988 da Andreas Dourakis. Dopo gli studi di enologia in Germania e le esperienze pratiche nella Grecia settentrionale, il fondatore è tornato nel suo paese natale per fondare la tenuta, producendo il primo vino imbottigliato privatamente a Chania. Oggi l'azienda di famiglia opera all'interno della denominazione Crete PGI, portando avanti la visione del fondatore per vini innovativi e autentici con la generazione successiva. Il portafoglio comprende vini da uve biologiche, inclusi vini spumanti tradizionali e distinti stili regionali. Oltre alla vinificazione, la proprietà ospita eventi culturali e mostre d'arte.
