About the estate
The Michalakis Estate has its roots in the small Cretan village of Rokka Kissamou and was founded by the Michalakis brothers. The history of the estate dates back to 1962, since when continuous efforts have been made to improve the quality and variety of the wines. The vineyard area covers 45 hectares, spreading across a single contiguous mountain area on the slopes of a historic valley in Crete at an altitude of up to 480 meters. The winery is located within the estate and is designed to harmonize with the natural environment. The wines belong to the Crete wine region.
The eno directory lists 19 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah.
