Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Dourakis Winery hat seinen Sitz in Alikampos auf der Insel Kreta und wurde im Jahr 1988 von Andreas Dourakis gegründet. Nach dem Önologie-Studium in Deutschland und Wanderjahren in Nordgriechenland kehrte der Gründer in seinen Geburtsort zurück, wo er den ersten privat abgefüllten Wein in Chania produzierte. Heute wird das Familienunternehmen in der Herkunftsbezeichnung Crete PGI von der nächsten Generation im Sinne des Vaters weitergeführt. Im Portfolio stehen Weine aus biologisch angebauten Trauben, darunter traditionell hergestellte Schaumweine sowie innovative Kreationen. Neben dem Weinbau fungiert das Anwesen auch als Galerie für Kunstausstellungen.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 22 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Syrah und Romeiko.
