About the estate
The Klados Winery was established in 1997 on the island of Crete in Rethymno and has been managed by the second generation of the family since 2014. The vineyards are set within a distinct terroir that nurtures local grape varieties such as Kotsifali, Liatiko, Vidiano, Muscat of Spina, and Assyrtiko alongside international varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The portfolio features wines under the Crete PGI designation as well as Protected Geographical Indication Rethymno. Over the years, the production facilities have been modernized with solar energy installations, while distribution has expanded to include exports to several European countries and Canada.
