The Boutaris Wines estate was founded in 1879 by Ioannis Boutaris in Naoussa, Macedonia. Throughout its long history, operations expanded to important wine-producing regions including Goumenissa, Santorini, Nemea, and Crete. Since 2022, the winery has been a member of the Sterner Stenhus Greece group. Winemaking involves both traditional Greek and international grape varieties, producing a range of wine styles. Distribution and export activities extend to international markets.
