Domaine Wilfried

About the estate

The Domaine Wilfried estate has a long family history dating back to the eighteenth century and shifted its focus to viticulture after the First World War. At the end of the nineties, the current generation took over the winery in the Rhône Valley and has since practiced organic agriculture, receiving certification in 2009. Shaped by Mediterranean sunshine and the Mistral wind, the vineyards are planted with Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault on sandy marl soils. The wines are produced through manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and maturation in concrete tanks to preserve purity and finesse.
