About the estate

The Domaine St Martin d'Agel estate is located in Magalas in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, near the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. The vineyard benefits from a variety of distinct soils, including siliceous gravel on upper slopes, poor and well-drained schist soils, and sandy marl on the lower terraces. The plantings feature Syrah, Grenache, old Mourvèdre and Carignan, as well as Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Marselan. Some of these parcels are over forty years old and are characterized by low yields. This wide range of grape varieties and diverse terroirs allows for a variety of blends in the estate's wines.
