About the estate
The Domaine Jean-Luc Mouillard estate is located in Mantry in the heart of the Jura wine region. The vineyard is distributed across various terroirs featuring clay, marl, and limestone banks, where fossils can occasionally be found. To protect the environment and preserve the characteristic taste of Jura wines, the estate practices reasoned pest management and initiated a conversion to organic farming. Soil management alternates between cultivation in every other row and grass cover to limit overproduction and prevent compaction. The production includes various appellation wines such as Côtes du Jura, Château-Chalon Vin Jaune, Vin de Paille, Crémant du Jura, L'Etoile, and Macvin du Jura.
