Domaine du Peyrie

About the estate

The family-run Domaine du Peyrie estate is located in Soturac at the western gates of the AOC Cahors appellation. The winery cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards situated on the alluvial terraces of the Lot river, featuring clay-siliceous soils over pebble subsoils. The vineyards are predominantly planted with the historical Malbec grape variety, complemented by parcels of Chardonnay, Chenin, and additional Malbec planted in 2014 and 2015. Vineyard management follows reasoned pest control principles, incorporating soil cultivation, cover cropping, and yield reduction. In the cellar, various cuvées are produced and bottled directly at the estate.
