Domaine des Molards

About the estate

The Domaine des Molards estate is located in Russin in the canton of Geneva and looks back on a history of over 650 years, dating back to 1352. Today, the winery is managed in direct lineage by the 21st and 22nd generations of the Desbaillet family. Across a vineyard area of 20 hectares, a variety of grape varieties thrive on gravelly soil, with Gamay and Chasselas cultivated as specialties. A particular feature of the property includes parcels with a 50 percent slope that are worked using a crawler tractor. The wines fall under the AOC Genève denomination and are produced through a controlled reduction of yields in the vineyard.
