About the estate

The Domaine des Abeilles d'Or estate manages 23 hectares of vineyards located in Satigny within the AOC Genève appellation. The estate's name originates from the Desbaillets family, an ancient Genevan lineage already documented in regional archives from the 14th century. The vines are cultivated on the Choully slope featuring clay-silt soils with limestone presence and a molasse bedrock. Viticulture follows traditional low Guyot training with grass-covered rows to prevent soil erosion. Furthermore, the property was among the early operations certified for environmentally friendly production focused on minimizing ecological impact.
