About the estate
The Domaine de Montahuc estate is led by Michel Poudou, whose family has been making wine in the region since the 17th century. The property cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards located on a stony, lacustrine limestone plateau in the south of France at the foot of the Black Mountain. Situated at an altitude between 280 and 300 meters, the vineyards benefit from a Mediterranean climate and constant winds. A pioneer in the region, the estate has practiced organic farming since 1990 and relies entirely on manual harvesting. Vinification is carried out with precision in stainless steel or concrete vats, producing wines under designations such as AOC Minervois and AOC Muscat de Saint-Jean-de-Minervois.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Muscat Petits Grains.

Belle robe jaune pâle aux reflets dorés. Au nez comme en bouche, on découvre des notes de fleurs blanches, de thym, de verveine et de fruits exotiques comme le litchi.
