Domaine de Matibat

About the estate

Originally from Northern Italy, the Turetti family settled in the Aude in 1927 and acquired the Domaine de Matibat estate in 1973. Today, Jean-Claude Turetti manages the property, which produces wines under the AOC Malepère and IGP Pays d'Oc denominations. The vineyards are situated at the foot of a wooded hill facing the Pyrenees. The estate operates with a strong commitment to environmental respect and holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. A total of seven grape varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet-Franc, Syrah, Pinot, Chardonnay, and Malbec, are cultivated on the property.
