About the estate
The Domaine de Lavaur estate has been managed by the Delpech family for four generations and covers 15 hectares of vineyards in the AOC Cahors. Located on the terraces of the Lot valley, the winery exclusively cultivates Malbec on light, stony soils as well as clay-limestone soils. Operations are carried out independently, with harvesting done mechanically or by hand for specific cuvées. Traditional vinification takes place in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing in oak barrels. The portfolio focuses on wines designed for fruitiness, elegance, and aging potential.
