About the estate
The Domaine de Lastronques estate cultivates sixteen hectares of vineyards as a family on the southern slopes of the Lèze valley facing the Pyrenees. As actors in the revival of regional viticulture in Ariège, they grow grape varieties including Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Gris, Chenin, and Petit Manseng, alongside newly planted white varieties such as Grand Manseng and Floréal. The vineyards are farmed organically with a priority on respecting biodiversity and the soils. The red, rosé, and white wines reflect the sunny terroir of the Pyrenean foothills, featuring naturally vinified cuvées made from hand-harvested grapes. A renovated traditional building on the property serves as a sales and event space.
