About the estate

The Domaine de la Peyrouse estate is situated in the heart of the high Corbières region on the terroir of Durban. Rooted in a long line of winemakers, the Gili-Baixas family currently manages the vineyards following organic farming principles. The estate benefits from the windy climate of the area, which ensures naturally healthy grapes and reduces the need for treatments. Harvesting takes place from September to October depending on the grape variety and the desired wine style. The traditional vinification process combines time-honored methods with modern techniques to extract optimal tannins and aromas from the fully ripe grapes, resulting in structured and age-worthy wines.
