About the estate
The Domaine de l'Orchis Pourpre estate was founded through a long-standing friendship in Babeau-Bouldoux within the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The property encompasses sixteen hectares of vineyards in the AOC Saint Chinian appellation, characterised by schist and clay soils as well as the surrounding garrigue landscape. The estate has transitioned towards organic farming, with certification achieved for the 2024 vintage. Winemaking practices include manual harvesting, temperature-controlled vats, and French oak barrels for the prestige cuvée. The portfolio features a range of white, rosé, and red wines bearing dance-inspired names.
