Domaine Marion Pla

About the estate

The Domaine Marion Pla estate is situated on the hillsides of Cessenon-sur-Orb, cultivating twenty-five hectares of vineyards classified under the AOC Saint Chinian designation. The history of the winery began in 1975 when the founder started to recultivate old, abandoned plots, eventually leaving the cooperative in 2007 to produce independent wines. Today, the estate is managed by the third generation, siblings Antoine and Marion Pla, continuing the family tradition. The vineyards feature clay-limestone soils and are planted with Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan for red wines, as well as Roussanne, Vermentino, and Grenache blanc for white wines. The estate has been cultivated organically since 2011.
