The Domaine de l'Ausseil estate was founded in 2001 in Latour de France and cultivates a vineyard area of ten hectares. The independent vignerons farm their vineyards on gneiss and schist soils following organic agriculture methods. The grape variety portfolio includes old Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah vines as well as younger parcels of Mourvèdre and Muscat. The extremely low yields of the old vines form the basis for producing wines under the AOC Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Rivesaltes, and Côtes Catalanes designations.
