About the estate
The Domaine de Cray estate has been active as a wine property since 1893 and is managed in the fifth generation. The 75-hectare vineyard is located on limestone plateaus overlooking the Loire between Tours and Amboise. Michel Antier developed the estate before handing it over to his son Antoine Antier in 2006. Vinification takes place in tuffeau cellars, where bottle fermentation produces fine sparkling wines as well as dry, semi-sweet, and moelleux wines. Cultivation includes grape varieties such as Chenin, also known as Pineau de la Loire, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
