About the estate
The historical Château de Fosse-Sèche is a medieval estate located in Vaudelnay in the Loire Valley, producing wines under the AOC Saumur denomination. Out of a total contiguous area of 45 hectares, 15 hectares are planted with vines while the remaining 30 hectares are dedicated to untouched nature. The winery operates according to organic and biodynamic agricultural practices and implements extensive biodiversity measures. Since 2016, the estate has participated in the CDC Biodiversité – Nature 2050 program to scientifically monitor its adaptation to climate change.
