About the estate

Founded in 1884 by Elisa Amiot, the Maison Veuve Amiot estate has a long history based in Saumur in the Loire Valley. The winery cultivates one hectare of vineyards and produces sparkling wines under the AOC Crémant de Loire and AOC Saumur denominations. Grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc are used for vinification and traditional bottle fermentation. The wines mature for months to years in the estate's historic tuffeau limestone cellars.

The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. The estate sells to retail and horeca.
