About the estate
The Domaine de Nerleux estate is located in the Loire Valley and is managed by Amélie Neau in the ninth generation. Founded in 1870, the winery currently encompasses 28 hectares of vineyards, which are fully certified in organic farming. The soils are characterized by tuffeau limestone, which imparts a remarkable freshness to the wines. The main grape varieties cultivated are Cabernet franc and Chenin, complemented by varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot noir, and Pineau d’aunis. The vinification and aging of the wines take place in historic underground cellars carved directly into the rock.
