Domaine de Chambaz

About the estate

The Domaine de Chambaz estate was founded in 1972 by Gilbert and Francis Chautems and spans four hectares of vineyards in Môtier in the Vully region. The vineyards are located in the smallest of Switzerland's major wine-producing regions and are heavily influenced by the local terroir. The soils consist largely of marl, while certain parcels also feature alluvial, molasse, or sandy soils. These diverse terrain conditions are well-suited for cultivating the indigenous Chasselas grape variety. Visits and wine tastings at the property are available by appointment.
