Domaine Chevallier

About the estate

The Domaine Chevallier estate is located in the heart of Gascony within the Bas-Armagnac region and looks back on a history dating back to the 18th century. The 30 hectares of vineyards extend across sandy-loam soils known as sables fauves on western-facing hillsides. Seven grape varieties are cultivated, with a strong focus on white varieties such as Colombard, Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, and Chardonnay. In 1998, the Chevallier family originally from northern France took over the property, modernised the winemaking facilities, and began commercialising wines under the Côtes de Gascogne denomination. Today, the estate operates as a family-run business dedicated to producing terroir-driven wines with respect for the environment.
