About the estate

The Domaine d'Espérance estate is located in Gascony in the heart of the Grand Bas Armagnac and was acquired in 1990 by Jean-Louis and Claire de Montesquiou. The property covers more than 50 hectares of vineyards on sandy clay soils known as Sables Fauves, situated on the border between the Landes and Gers regions. Farming follows traditional methods with minimized treatments, and the estate holds a high environmental value certification. The vineyards are planted with grape varieties such as Baco 22A, Folle Blanche, Gros-Manseng, Colombard, Sauvignon blanc, Ugni-Blanc, Tannat, and Merlot. The portfolio comprises AOC Armagnac, Floc de Gascogne, and several wines.
