About the estate

The artisanal enterprise Veuve Lafontan & et ces Enfants is located in the southwest of France, at the centre of a triangle formed by Bordeaux, Pau and Toulouse. The estate specialises in the production of characterful Bas-Armagnacs and holds stocks of vintage spirits stored in glass demijohns dating from 1888 to 1969. Traditional production relies on ancestral know-how and patience during the maturation of the brandies. Ageing takes place in oak casks with a capacity of 200 to 400 litres, allowing the aromas to develop fully after maturation.
